An introduction to the platform
Welcome to The Online Accident Report Book. The following is an introductory overview to the platform and how it flows.
The application revolves primarily around two types of data properties: Premises and Remote Workers. Whenever you create an accident or incident report must attach it to either one of these.
A premises is a fixed address - this could be an office, a warehouse, or any other fixed address that you have within your company.
Making a report that is attached to a premises means that this address will be stamped as the location for this report - it's not freely editable.
Full Guide: Premises
A remote worker is a fixed individual's name - but the address in this instance is fluid and editable. This would be suitable for any staff who work from home and also staff that work offsite in multiple different locations.
Making a report that is attached to a remote worker means that this name will be stamped as the person involved in this report - it's not freely editable.
Full Guide: Remote Workers
When setting up your subscription you should choose the correct number of Premises and Remote Workers, however you can increase (or decrease) this after creating your account if needed.
